Terms of Use

By creating an account or using OptiResume (“the service”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

OptiResume provides ATS resume scoring, keyword analysis, and AI-powered resume improvement suggestions. It is offered as-is for personal, non-commercial use. The service is provided free of charge; we reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future with advance notice.

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• One account per person. Automated account creation is prohibited.
• You may not use the service to process someone else's resume without their knowledge and consent.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate calls to the service.
• Upload content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
• Use the AI credit system in bad faith (e.g., creating multiple accounts to bypass the per-account limit).
• Probe or test the service for security vulnerabilities without prior written consent.

The OptiResume codebase, scoring rules, and prompts are owned by Yash Adake. Your resume text and analysis results belong to you. You grant us a limited license to process your resume text solely to provide the service, we do not use it for training AI models or any other purpose.

OptiResume is a tool to help you improve your resume, it does not guarantee interview calls or job offers. ATS scores are estimates based on common patterns and may not reflect the exact criteria of any specific employer's ATS.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
